on the night of august 30, 2003 Kareem Edward Bynum was driving from his mothers home is Swainsboro Georgia when he approached a road block.The road block was conducted by the Georgia State Patrol. As kareem came to a stop one of the officers asked for his license and insurance. Kareem responded by saying "yes sir, sure is a nice night!". the officer didn't respond. "Have a nice night" the officer addressed to kareem,he then drove off. As Kareem got about 2 miles from the road block he began to see blue lights flashing in his rearview mirror. Kareem came to a stop. The officer came to the car and ordered kareem to step out of the car. When kareem got out of the carhe ased "Is there a prblem officer?"He responded with "we have a warrent for your arrest". Kareem asked the officer could he got to his father's house because he was so close and park his car. The officer didn't respond. Kareem then drove off.
